It was in an absolutely perfect location close to an archaeological museum. A wide range of options nearby, I visited restaurants and bars close to the hotel. My room included tea/coffee and coffee. Private bathrooms, that included a bidet, were cleaned daily.

This hotel has everything that a city traveller could desire: excellent position, large clean rooms, comfortable beds, great shower, good breakfast and even though it's right in the centre, there is no noise.

Hotel Tonic was positive experience. Staff friendly, room very clean, on a hot day mineral water in minibar was really needed, at very reasonable price. Stayed only one night, a visit from Taormina. Stairs would have presented a problem if I'd had more than an overnight bag. Though I trust the staff would have helped. Breakfast was a positive surprise, good coffee from a real Italian espresso&cappucino machine, not automativ "press a button" -thing. Great location.

Had a very good stay on a business trip. the bar served a great selection of meals for breakfast. - the location was excellent, near to the airport bus stop, convenient to go everywhere. - It was really close to the center of the city, very close to most attractions, historical sights, and markets.

Staff very helpful - both on reception and in catering/cleaning. Breakfast buffet excellent and service very good. Good all round service and support. Location very good - close to the main areas and the coach back to the airport - also close to the main bus routes for getting round Palermo and surrounding villages. If you go any closer into Palermo it becomes more noisy and more congested so being about 4/5 minutes away from the main centre helps particularly at night time. Area appears safe for tourists.
If I had a slight criticism it would be that the beds are a little hard for my personal preference - good for the back though.

Good location, easy to reach from train station, bus station, port; easy to reach both the old part of Palermo (Quatro Canti et al) and the new part.
It is noisier than one would expect: first, the street noise still gets through despite double class windows; second, plumbing is noisy and the location of the bathrooms makes you hear the neighbour's shower etc.; third, despite solid doors all the sounds from the corridors and reception desk can clearly be heard even three stories above the lobby.

For me the location was absolutly perfect for walking everywhere, it's close to the main sights and there are plenty of bars and restaurants around. The breakfast is ok, small selection of products but the fruit is very tasty. Staff at the breakfast room is very kind and friendly.
In my opinion the bed is very hard, not good to rest properly after spending the day walking around the city. The tv is very small in proportion with the size of the room, but this was not a problem for me as I did not intend to spend time in the bedroom watching tv.
